Dr. Jonas Joseph Jackson-Clark hails from the vibrant community of Greater Lake Charles, LA, where his profound Christian faith and robust value system were nurtured by his family and community. Raised Methodist and now a committed Roman Catholic, Dr. Clark deeply values his relationship with God, particularly his devotion to the Holy Eucharist and adherence to the teachings of the Church. With over 19 years of experience in education and social work, Dr. Clark's professional journey is both extensive and impressive. A 2002 graduate of LaGrange Senior High School in Lake Charles, LA, he embarked on his higher education journey at Dillard University, New Orleans, LA before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development/Early Childhood Education from Grambling State University, Grambling, LA. His quest for knowledge led him to the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and Saint Louis University, where he obtained a Masters of Education and a Masters of Social Work, respectively. Dr. Clark's academic pursuits did not stop there; he completed his Doctoral degree in Education in Educational Leadership at the University of Phoenix in Los Angeles. He further enhanced his credentials with a postdoctoral certification in School Leadership and Management (CSML) from Harvard University's Graduate School of Education. Throughout his career, Dr. Clark has amassed a wealth of leadership, coaching, and teaching experience across various educational settings, including traditional public, private, and high-performing charter schools. He is the founder of Lillie-Lynn Educational Consulting LLC, a tribute to the influential women in his life, his mother and grandmother. His professional roles have ranged from Elementary teacher to leadership positions in cities such as Saint Louis, MO, Houston, TX, Lake Charles, LA, Baton Rouge, LA, Chicago, IL, Washington DC, Los Angeles, CA, Milwaukee, WI, and Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Clark's influence extends beyond the United States, with educational leadership roles in Punta Gorda, Belize, and Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He is a member of several prestigious organizations, including Kappa Delta Pi, NEA, NAEYC, NABSE, Black Educators Rock, National Black Educators, and Phi Beta Sigma International Fraternity Incorporated.
