When our parents and students share this same commitment, there is no limit to what we can achieve by working together under God’s guidance. Your commitment is essential in this rigorous and challenging adventure toward excellence through Christ, our focus on Happiness, Healthiness, and Holiness. We look forward to partnering with you in this exciting process and appreciate your commitment to allowing RSG’s staff to educate your student!

Parents and Family Members can get involved in many ways. For example, fundraising, joining the Athletic Association, parent work days and volunteering etc. We welcome everyone to be part of the Redemptorist St. Gerard School Family.

Parents are encouraged to log into PlusPortals frequently for up to date information and resources.

If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.

Welcome Letter From the Principal

Greetings Redemptorist Saint Gerard Catholic School Families,

We are EXCITED that you are returning or joining our Redemptorist Saint Gerard Catholic School family, where we strive to continue to groom our young students into responsible, God-fearing young men and women who are ready to succeed at every level! When you visit Redemptorist Saint Gerard, we hope you see the joy and happiness with which we work, while holding high academic and behavioral expectations for all of our students.

Our mission is three-fold and we stand firm on it:

  • Christ: We are a CHRISTIAN school and believe in helping our students learn about and believe in Jesus’ perfect love for them!
  • College and Beyond: We prepare our students for COLLEGE and BEYOND!
  • Character: We work hard to develop strong CHARACTER within each of our students!

First and foremost, we cannot stress enough that we are a Catholic (Christian) school. This manifests itself in our sincere gospel focus and Catholic teaching, which is reflected in our approach to student behavior and the love we model as Christian educators. God loved us enough to send his Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us; out of thankfulness, we, in turn, love one another as a reflection of God’s love for us. The Catholic foundation of our school, with Christian values taught at home, serve as a powerful foundation within the hearts and minds of our children. We are committed to building character in each of our students of which our parents, families, and community can be extremely proud.

Secondly, our academic program is intensely focused on preparing students for college and beyond. We sincerely believe in our students and their amazing potential! We are proud to announce that this school year we have restored our academic model. Some of our changes include, but not limited to, brand new tier 1 curriculum in Reading/ELA, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. We have also made a concretive effort to provide our teachers and instructional staff with more opportunities for high quality research based professional development. We strongly encourage our students to push themselves academically in preparation for success beyond high school. It is also our goal to develop servant leaders—young people who seek to create positive change in their lives and in the communities around them. We are dedicated to the success of every student and work extremely hard to ensure each and every one of our students will be successful. Students and parents must be committed to this level of intensity.

This year, our school theme will be: “Restoring The Legacy” - Joel 2:25-32! Our RSG team will stop at nothing to ensure every student rises to meet and exceed our high expectations.

Praying God’s Continued Blessings,

Dr. Jonas Clark, Ed.D., M.Ed., MSW, CSML - Proud Principal,

RSG Home & School Association

What is Home & School?

Home and School Association plays an important role in the school. It helps to live out our mission. It help to provide experience to educate the whole child through the fund the organization raises from different school events.

By providing financial assistance to the school, organized social functions, and extracurricular educations programs, our student are able to directly and positively benefit from the services provided by Home and School Association. The Home and School Association is built as a partnership between the school and the parents as well as the other volunteers that help build a strong community.

What we do?

  • It is a volunteer association- this association is run entirely through volunteers like YOU!
  • There are many committees that work throughout the year to bring the best possible events and happenings to our student at Redemptorist St. Gerard.
  • Home and School Association hosts fundraisers throughout the year to help support the school.
